The branding of Óculos came to life through the trio of Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, and Canva. Photoshop breathed life into our imagery, Adobe Illustrator carved out refined logos and graphics, and Canva facilitated creative exploration. This journey yielded a visual identity that seamlessly captures Óculos' essence.

The design journey revolved around prioritizing users and their needs at every stage. With users at the core, I engaged them in each phase, conducting thorough research using ExplodingTopics, Google Trends, Think With Google, Similar Web and, Survey Monkey, and incorporated design methodologies using Figma and Wix CMS to enhance their online shopping journey.

E-commerce revenue for Sunglasses stores has been on a steady decline due to Covid-19, it is estimated however that by 2027 its revenue will increase to 197B.

The growing popularity of sunglasses as a fashion product is expected to propel the growth of the sunglasses market.

There is a huge barrier to entry for new designer sunglasses since most of the frames used by luxury brands are produced by the same company.

 

This allows one company to control the market price.

Market Research

I conducted a public survey with users who are familiar with shopping online to identify their needs and pain points.

 

These consumers barely finds time to shop in person as they are always busy working.

  • Do you prefer shopping online?

  • When was the last time you bought sunglasses online?

  • Do you usually find what you are looking for? what is the site name that you bought from?

  • What features do you like the most about this site?

  • Are there features you wish they had?
